This is a quiz about American writers -- novelists, playwrights, poets, and a short sory writer -- who felt compelled to kill themselves. For the most part, the questions give you information about the writer/suicide and ask you to chose who did himself or herself in. To keep things varied, however, some questions seek information related to a particular writer's suicide. A lot of great literature may have been lost due to these suicides. On the other hand, but for the psychic pain that drove these writers to kill themselves, they may never have felt the urge to write. If you know whose photo heads this quiz, you know the answer to question 5 without even reading it.
