I was thinking up a basis for a quiz. And thought - why not what's right in front of my very eyes? My own Surrey, UK village's high street! As with most such centres, there's a wealth of interest there - historical, culinary, geographical, social - which can convert into 'General Knowledge' questions. Inevitably, an English village's high street will mirror its own past. Similar quizzes based on other nations' 'Main Street' - or whatever - could be very different. So let's walk down mine - and maybe let's see others' quizzes showing what the US, Oz and co. can also come up with!
