Andy Warhol's famous dictum that everybody would be famous for 15 minutes was embodied by his "superstars". The superstars were part of Warhol's artistic and social life, and Warhol promoted them through his patronage, bringing them fame. In fact, however, many of the superstars enjoy success in the arts that predates or postdates the association with Warhol. Surely, some of the superstars enjoyed and maintained their minor celebrity because of their association with Warhol. It would appear that others may have found broader success had they not been "typed", arising out of their association with Warhol.
For most questions in this quiz, you will be given biographical information about a Warhol superstar, the names of one or more Warhol films in which the superstar appears, and, where applicable, any contribution made by that superstar to the arts independent of Warhol.
