Since I grew up in Massachusetts and then moved to England I have noticed a large number of Massachusetts place names that are named after British ones. This is a two part quiz. In the first part I will name some places in England and all you have to do is name the English county (ceremonial/traditional) that they are in. In the second half you have to name the Massachusetts county they are in.I have used Wikipedia and www.naco.org for my information. Enjoy the journey.

Couldn't peg any of the English counties but am pleased to say I got all correct in Massachusetts, despite being from "West of Boston" in Worcester -- which seems only to be pronounced properly by the residents and folks in Britain. I grew up in Shrewsbury -- which has a collectibles shop in the center of town named, appropriately, the Shropshire Curiosity Shoppe. Thank you for a delightful quiz! VickiB.
