Welcome to the first Sploofus quiz on Aristotle, perhaps the greatest philosopher who ever lived--and certainly my favorite. Aristotle lived in ancient Greece between 284 and 322 B.C. Don't be intimidated here. His thought is so much a part of our own thinking and our everyday lives that you will be surprised about how much you know about his concepts. Here are a few relatively simple questions about his revolutionary ideas (and one about friends in high places). Above: Yes, there's the fellow, himself--great for conversation over a cup of wine.
