Attention All Foodies!

|Cooking isn't what it used to be. In the olden days (when I was young), when you served breakfast, it was time to start preparations for lunch and so on. |
Not to mention the shopping. Shopping was done daily. Iceboxes didn't keep things all that well, especially in the summer. If you were lucky, the vegetable man brought his truck around the neighborhood once or twice a week. The milkman came every other day. My Grandmother would pour off the cream and churn butter with it.
She also kept chickens in a pen in the yard. I still remember her catching a chicken and wringing it's neck. It would run around the yard for a while, headless.
Yes, things have certainly changed. Let's step back to a time before microwaves and food processors. I hope you enjoy the quiz. It's pretty wordy.
If you think you might like to try the recipes, remember to print the answer sheet after you've rated the quiz, and thanks for taking my quiz.
