A few weeks ago I suffered by watching a small part of a Kansas City Royals game. In this game KC Royal, Esteban German, while playing out of position, was hit in the head by a batted ball in right field. I immediately exclaimed that Babe Herman is alive and well. Babe Herman is my favorite baseball player of all time and it does a body good to see modern players following his footsteps, as it were. please enjoy a recounting of the "other Babe's" exploits and those who have followed.
