Behind Every President: A First Lady

|Were they always called First Ladies? Apparently not, as the title once was "Presidentress", or for Martha Washington it was "Lady Washington". For Dolley Madison it was "Queen Dolley"! For Mary Todd Lincoln, the title was "Mrs. President".|
Michelle Obama is the latest wife of a president who is preparing to wear the title as she moves into the White House, and she will be the first African-American to fulfill the role.
A Harvard graduate and accomplished attorney, Ms. Obama has also referred to herself in terms of her first responsibility, as the "Mom-in-chief" to her two daughters, Malia and Sasha.
During Barack Obama's campaign, Michelle Obama got right behind her husband and helped him stump, leaving behind her job as a hospital executive.
Here's a look at other First Ladies behind the President over the years.
Good Luck and please rate the quiz afterward if you have a chance. Thanks!
