Big Wheels Keep On Turning. Roll On Tina!

|Ike Turner, ex-husband, blues, soul, rock, funk, musician, bandleader, talent scout, and record producer left us December 12, 2007. Ike Turner’s multi talents propelled him and Tina Turner to musical heights. Back in the early 1950's Ike was one of the founding fathers of Rock n' Roll. Ike and Tina recorded for Sun; the same label Elvis Presley worked for. Ike Turner has never gotten the credit he deserves and I think the whole world knows why! Instead of focusing on his domestic problems, it would be less than fair not to look at him as a musical genius, with or with out Tina.|
Ike won a Grammy in 2007 for the traditional blues album category with his "Risin' With the Blues.”
Little Richard referred to him as “The Man", and B.B. King proudly said, "He's the best band leader I've ever seen".
Ike and Tina shared a turbulent, volatile, marital relationship; but their music echoes biting, wicked raw tones of passion, scorching -hot rhythm and blues, smoking the earth juices, of blues, boogie- boogie, jazz, and other different styles of music that led to growling, hip, swaying. As the knot of their troubled marriage began untying, Tina decided to pursue a career of her own.
This quiz is a mixed bag of their music. Some questions will ask of their musical talent during their marriage or questions about Tina’s solo career.
Both Ike and Tina’s music is wanted dead or alive.
