Billkozy's 'Country' Music Quiz

Welcome to the May Community Quizzes -- a game for quiz takers and makers. This is my take on the Community Quiz subject, "Pick a Country." Some of you who answered my survey already know what this quiz will be about, and a huge thank you to all who participated! I polled Sploofusers, asking them to vote for their "5 Favorite Country Music Songs." (The last community quiz poll I conducted was also 'favorite song' type quiz and got the most responses of all my surveys, so I took my cue from that and continued with the favorite song theme. I heard back from 67 people who voted in this one. Using a formula that combines the order voters placed their choices in, with the sheer number of votes received, I tallied the results and have discovered what the overall Top 10 were. They are the focus of this quiz. So without further ado, the following quiz features the Top 10 Favorite Country Music Songs according to the votes of Sploofus players. Thank you so much to all of you who took part--you make this a lot of fun for me, and I can only hope you have fun seeing what you and your colleagues voted for. Here are the songs that just missed out cracking the top 10: #11- Folsom Prison Blues by Johnny Cash #12- How Do I Live? by Trisha Yearwood #13- Stand By Your Man by Tammy Wynette #14- Before He Cheats by Carrie Underwood #15- Walk the Line by Johnny Cash #16- (tie) Achy Breaky Heart by Billy Ray Cyrus, and Don't It Make My Brown Eyes Blue by Crystal Gayle #18- (tie) Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain (Willie Nelson), Neon Moon (Brooks and Dunn), Redneck Woman (Gretchen Wilson), and Still the One (Bill Anderson) #22- San Antonia Rose (Bob Wills) #23- Before The Next Teardrop Falls #24- Blue (Leann Rimes) #25- Mama Tried (Merle Haggard) On a sidenote my own favorite, "Maybe it Was Memphis" by Pam Tillis received only one other vote from a Sploofus player. And that's still one more vote than 3 of my other choices: Forever and For Always by Shania Twain; Don't Tell Me What To Do, by Pam Tillis; and I Never Promised You a Rose Garden by Lynn Anderson. sigh.
