Summer months in America have been my favorite time of the year, notwithstanding so much the nice weather, but it’s the patriotism which pervades across our country, the United States of America. I did a little research on Flag Day; lo and behold, I came across many different flags. For you in the Armed Forces and veterans these questions should be pretty easy. When soldiers were all dressed up in their suits of armor it was difficult to tell who was who, so the introduction of military flags in battle was basically to let you know who your friends and enemies were. Probably in the Middle Ages it became popular for warriors to carry flags with them into battle. Please rate my quiz. Thank you, have fun. www.usflag.org
