Broadcasting Slang #2
![]() |
People who work in television have developed their own language or slang for the many things that go into putting on a TV show. This quiz covers some of those terms. I'll give you the definition, you give me the slang term. Now you will know what they are talking about when they mention one of these terms. Many of the are also used by radio personalities, too. FYI, I am on TV in San Diego (channel 9 in the mornings, if you want to watch). The picture of me and Elmo (sesame Street) to the left was produced using the subject of question #6. We were in California, not Mexico where the pyramid is located.
