Here Comes the Bunco Squad!
![]() |
For the past twenty years, we have been playing bunco in my suburban neighborhood. It's a game of dice, prizes, and luck. Park your skill at the door. Through the years, this group has melded into a group of good friends who have shared all that life has to offer from rearing teen agers, making college choices, planning weddings, caring for elderly parents, suffering the death of a loved one, exulting in the births of grandchildren---and everything in between. Bunco is played throughout the USA and even worldwide. In an ad for an anti- heartburn drug, Proctor and Gamble said that over 29,000,000 people play this game regularly. I learned some things while researching the history of Bunco on line. Whether you call it bunco, bunko or bonco, the rules might be a little bit different but worldwide, it's a game for which you need no skill, you can win prizes and you will make long-term friends while eating delicious food. Though I set records for never capturing the big prizes, the experience has been a winner in my book. This quiz is rather easy, even for non-bunco players. Read the clues to determine the correct answer. Good luck.
