Burma Shave Signs

Believe it or not, there used to be ONLY 2 lane roads - - no interstate highways! Yes, that's right, and one had to drive through each and every little town and stop sign and light and road sign on the way to wherever. Now, back in the 1930's, 1940's and 1950's, planted in farmer's fields, in groups of 4, 5 and 6 and about 100 feet apart, one might see these small, red signs with white letters. Each sign contained 1 line of a 4 or 5 line couplet. The last sign contained the obligatory Burma Shave advertising. Does anyone remember those signs or remember hearing about them? Here's an example of one set of signs: "DON"T LOSE YOUR HEAD TO GAIN A MINUTE YOU NEED YOUR HEAD YOUR BRAINS ARE IN IT Burma Shave" I'll give you the lines for the signs and you complete the last sign.
