Carrot Cake -- Very Special

Take this quiz, then write down the recipe. This cake is official named the Heritage Carrot Cake. The recipe is over 200 years old. I love carrot cake and this is the best of the best...I have made it many times. It is actually very easy to make, and the actual minutes involved in making it, minus cooking time, are not that many...but it is spread out over 4 days from start to table, so plan ahead and the reward will be amply worth it. NOTE: The frosting is not traditional...they probably just iced it. But most people put Cream Cheese frosting on carrot cakes these day...make it with ot without...your call.
