In the UK, especially, we have castles by the hundreds to visit, mostly originating up to 1,000 years ago. I love 'em. Many visitors from overseas must also have visited some - the Tower of London for starters! But what are we all looking at? Castles were built for specific purposes - usually defence - so all those towers and things must have their own purposes and descriptions. I'll give you a 'castle term', you tell me which bit of the castle it is. OK? And when you next visit a castle, maybe you'll have a bit more info on what to look at!
