Celebrating my 50th birthday

I just did a puzzle by a Sploofus colleague (no names allowed but think Banshee!) who asked you to guess what she was doing when certain events happened. I’m going to adapt that idea; since I’m planning what to do on my 50th birthday in a year’s time, I’ll ask you if you can guess who was born on these celebrities’ 50th birthdays. I'll give you all the clues you need - but if you would prefer not to have the years of the various birthdays, to make it more challenging, please let me know! Here comes the jubilee...
