Continuing on with my now world-famous "Cheers" quizzes, I bring you Cliff Clavin, the man of 1,000 little known facts. Along with Norm Peterson, Cliff was one of the greatest 'second banana' characters in TV history. Some little known facts on Cliff and "Cheers": John Ratzenberger, the actor who played Cliff, first auditioned for the role of Norm Peterson. When he was rejected, he made up the role of Cliff Clavin for the producers. The producers liked the role, but the character was only scheduled to be on seven episodes. After proving to be very successful, Cliff's run was extended, and the rest is TV history. Enjoy!
