Christmas TV Specials and Feature Films

Around Christmas time every year there are lots of entertaining things to look forward to. As a kid growing up I would be excited to see the holiday TV specials, they were fun. As I grew older, there were some feature films that captured the idea of Christmas for me as well. As a kid and young adult these were special memories. Unfortunately, the excitement and "special" attribute has been significantly cheapened with VCR/DVD versions. It is no longer "Mom make some popcorn the show is coming on tonight". Now it's more like "Do we have to watch that again? It's the 15th time this week". So enjoy the holiday season, make sure you find something about this year to make it special and keep on Sploofin'.
