Welcome to the January '08 CQ, a game for quiz takers and makers. In southeast Tennessee between the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains and the Cumberland Plateau lies the little town of Pikeville. According to the 2000 census, 1,781 people lived there. My mother's family has lived in the Sequatchie Valley and on the Cumberland Plateau for generations. It was a great place to grow up, go to school, to work and to raise a family. Pikeville advertises itself as the gateway to Fall Creek Falls State Park. Since my mother was born in what is now state property, I decided to make my quiz about the Park. I hope you will enjoy learning about this gorgeous area of Tennessee. If you love the outdoors, consider a vacation at Fall Creek Falls.
