Classic Rock: Don't Mess with Texas!

There a few proverbs about Texas; First is after 7 days of trial, error and contemplation on the 8th day God created Texas. Our contribution to the music world is proof. My family contends that when we annexed the United States we made a grave error. Tongue now removed from cheek; I'll give a brief bio and a couple of well known tunes, you guess the artist. Remember the Alamo and don't mess with Texas!
