Classical Music Composers – Part 2

|The style of music that was prevalent in Europe from around the 1740s to 1830s is called “Classical Music.” Although the term “Classical Music” is used as a general term for all kinds of music in this tradition, it can also refer to this particular era. On the other hand, the “Romantic” style of music is defined as the period of European classical music that runs roughly from 1810s to 1910s.|
Since most of my favorite composers fall either under the transitional period of these two musical styles or entirely under the Romantic style, I decided to lump them together under one quiz title. The reason is that I have but a few favorite composers which can be truly classified under the classical period.
Short biographies of some of my favorite classical music composers are given with mentions of some of their more popular works. See if you can identify these composers.
Probably this quiz will help increase your appreciation for classical music. If you are one of those who dislikes classical music, this quiz might be a bit stressful.
Try to have fun.
