The story of Badfinger is a tragedy of Shakespearian proportions. Extremely talented songwriters, catchy pop hooks, exquisite vocals - Badfinger was the natural progression of Beatlesque pop. Unfortunately, Badfinger could never escape the huge shadow cast by their friends and mentors, The Beatles. Add in a bankrupt record label, inner band turmoil and an unscrupulous manager, and you have the recipe for a modern day musical disaster.

Fortunately for us, Badfinger left us with nine albums of beautifully crafted music. The fact that these nine albums were recorded under the most trying of circumstances only reaffirms the level of acheivement they attained in their short tragic existence.
