Diamonds have a certain allure and fascination that has transcended time. They mean different things to different people. For the most part, diamonds are associated with love, but they are also seen as an investment or valued for their industrial uses. The diamond is the stone that had launched a thousand clichés: they are forever, they are a girl's best friend ... and the well-known song has hit the nail on the head: as a homage to beauty, a diamond certainly beats a kiss on the hand! But diamonds are not only a "girl's" best friend: until the late Middle Ages, a diamond was a "male" stone, set only in crowns and the scabbards and hilts of swords and daggers. Modern men like to wear diamond rings or a diamond earring ... and why not? It is a cool look!
