I'm really dating myself with this one. A lot of you will have NEVER even heard of the signs because they were no longer even around when you were born. I used to just love them while driving along with my parents. We read them and laughed. Of course, those were much simpler times, but I do miss them. I gleaned my information from several different websites but the one that figured most heavily was that good old standby, Wikipedia! Learn about these lost advertising signs. AND do remember, they have a place of honor at the Smithsonian!
