|My quiz on Cartoon catch Phrases might have confused a few people. If they thought they were "Hearing Things", they probably were.|
If they guessed the catch phrase "Ruh roh" was said by Scooby Doo, They were half right.
Donald Earl "Don" Messick was the voice of Astro from the Jetsons, and the voice of Scooby Doo.
People get confused because of the same voice in the 2 characters.
The Jetsons premiered in 1962.
Scooby Doo showed up in 1965.
Astro's signature line was "Ruh roh" or " Ruh roh Reorge"
Scooby's line was "Ruh roh Raggy" or ("Uh oh Shaggy"!)
Messick also did the voices of 'Boo Boo Bear, Muttley, Bamm Bamm Rubble, Zorak, Godzooky, and Pappa Smurf.
You'd be amazes at the number of actors who've voiced animated feature films, or animated television cartoons.
This quiz will focus on the voices in animated feature films, with the exception of question #1 - probably the most famous voice in the history of animation!
"Tonite what heights we'll hit, on with the show this is it!
