Famous, Infamous And Notable American Eagle Scouts

Since its introduction in the United States in 1911, some 1.7 million boys have advanced to the rank of Eagle Scout. This is about 2% of the total membership in the Boy Scouts of America over the same period of time. (In 2005, approximately 5% of Boy Scouts earned the status of Eagle Scout.)
In this quiz, you are mostly asked to identify the Eagle Scout from the information provided. These people come from a variety of backgrounds, and all are famous, infamous, or in some way notable in regard to the Boy Scouts. I was personally surprised to discover that several of these men were Eagle Scouts, and undoubtedly the Boy Scouts of America would prefer it if their association with Scouting were forgotten. The title of Eagle Scout is bestowed for life, however, giving rise to the slogan, "Once an Eagle, always an Eagle."
The image which introduces this quiz is one of the several designs of the Eagle Scout medal that has been given over the years to those who achieve the rank.
