Hunter Thompson's classic tale of drugs and depravity was first published in 1971. With the reptilian-like illustrations of Ralph Steadman to accompany it, the book takes you on a drug and booze filled odyssey that never lets up. Was it a great work of fiction or did Thompson really become involved in those escapades? And remember, there is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible than a man in the depths of an ether binge.
