Find a Hidden Best-Picture Oscar in Each Sentence
![]() |
There have been 21 movies that have won the Academy Award for Best Picture that were one-word titled films. Here in part 2 of 2 parts, you have to find the title of 11 of those 21 films hidden within sentences. So that's the gimmick: Each question will be a sentence that has a one-word-titled Oscar Best Picture winner hidden in plain sight within it. For instance, in the sentence "Give it up at tonight's prom.", the hidden Best Picture is PATTON: "Give it uP AT TONight's prom." Easy right? But in order to avoid listing the answer in the multiple choices, I will list film directors, one of which is the director of the hidden movie title. Otherwise there'd be no challenge to simply looking at the multiple choices and matching which one is obviously in the sentence. This way the word play will be combined with a bit of movie trivia knowledge. Bear in mind also that the directors listed didn't necessarily win Best Directing Oscars--they are instead directors of Best Picture winners. If this is your first time, be careful, these puzzles are addictive!--but don't worry, I've got tons more of this type coming. And please don't forget to rate the quiz! Thanks! Best, Bill
