Find a Hidden President in Each Sentence- part 4
Billkozy on 03/19/2007
|Well, this is the 4th and final installment of the 'Find a Hidden U.S. President' version of this game. I've used every single U.S. President in the 4 quizzes. I hope you liked it. The next category will be World Capitals, and I'll use every single one of those too! Stay tuned for that (those). Meantime, this is the same sort of quiz that I created with the "Find the Hidden State Capital in Each Sentence" series. The gimmick is easy: Each question will be a simple sentence that has the last name of a U.S. President hidden in plain sight within it. For instance in the sentence "Get off or die" the hidden President is FORD:|
Get ofF OR Die.
Easy right? But in order to avoid listing the answer in the multiple choices, I will list the President's Vice President and the years that he served as President. Otherwise there'd be no challenge to simply looking at the multiple choices and matching which one is obviously in the sentence. This way the word play will be combined with a bit of historical trivia knowledge.
But I'll be merciful and try to list very very widely different choices in the multiple choices. That way hopefully, you won't be frustrated with having spotted the President in the sentence but feel torn between the choices offered in the multiple choice list.
I hope those of you who played the State Capital version and wrote to me mentioning how much you enjoyed those puzzles will like these as much.
And please don't forget to rate the quiz! Thanks!
