Find a Hidden U.S. State in Each Sentence, part 2
Billkozy on 11/20/2008
|It's been awhile since I made any "Find the hidden word in each sentence" Quizzes, so I thought it was time to bring them back. This time, we're looking for the name of a U.S. state hidden within each sentence. Each sentence in this quiz will feature one of the United States concealed within it. |
For instance, in the sentence: "Is cousin Del aware that his shoes are untied?" the state in that sentence is Delaware: "Is cousin DEL AWARE that his shoes are untied?"
However, to make it a little more challenging I won't include the states in the multiple choices but instead will list five state capitals, one of which is the capital of the state hidden in the sentence. This way it avoids the nonchallenging aspect of simply looking at the states in the choices and matching one to the sentence. Where would be the fun in that? Plus, this puzzle will offer a combination of Word Play with Geography knowledge. So in the above example again, if the choices were:
Cheyenne, Dover, Columbia, Atlanta, and Trenton, you would pick Dover because Dover is the capital of Delaware.
Good Luck! And please rate the quiz afterward if you have the chance. Thanks!
