Find the Concealed River

|Welcome to my third attempt at a concealed-name quiz. Thanks for all the encouraging feedback on the first two! |
Each of the following dozen questions is in the form of a sentence, which conceals the name of a major world river-- which you are invited to find. Rivers on all six continents are represented. To add a little bit of a challenge, you will not be given the name of the river to answer but the continent upon which it is to be found.
Example: “Hello, I remember you!”
“Hel-LO, I RE-member you” conceals LOIRE. The answer would be the Loire River’s continent, Europe (Ireland and Great Britain will be included with Europe). The name can be extended across more than one word and across punctuation marks as well.
PLEASE NOTE: I have deliberately NOT included ANY two- or three-letter river names. “Po” or “Ob” and so forth don’t count! One river name is four letters long; all the rest are five or more letters long.
There’s a bit of theme in the sentences as well, since they all concern the sections of a weird newspaper I picked up....
Thanks for taking this quiz and I hope it’s as much fun to take as it was to make! Now go with the flow!
