From Being Condemned to Being Justified

|In my quiz “From Depravity to Being Born Again,” we learned that we are dead in sin, sinful by nature, having absolutely no ability for righteousness and rightfully objects of God’s wrath and condemnation. And the only way out of this is to be “born again,” wherein our Sovereign God effectively took away our old sinful nature and replaced it with a new nature that is able to love God, fulfill His righteous requirements and where sin no longer has any dominion (Ezekiel 36:26, Jeremiah 31:33-34). Synonymous terms for “born again” include “born of God” (John 1:13), “born of the Spirit” (John 3:8) and “new birth” (1 Peter 1:3). And the corresponding theological term is “regeneration.”|
And if we have truly been “born again,” how would we respond or react to sin?
New International Version (NIV) of the Bible is used.
Choose the missing word/s appropriate to the quoted biblical texts and may we, who are in Christ, count ourselves blessed because “Blessed are they whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered” (Psalm 32:1, Romans 4:7).
PS: Thanks, Troy (troyclemens) for suggesting such a wonderful Bible topic.
