Graceland is the home of the "King of Rock 'n' Roll", Elvis Presley.

In contrast to the mansion known as "Graceland", Elvis Aron Presley was born on Jan. 8, 1935, in a 2 room shotgun style house in Tupelo, Mississippi. The 2 room house was built by Elvis' father, Vernon, Vester, and Jesse, his grandfather. Vernon was very proud to have built the inside door all by himself. Elvis had very humble beginnings before Graceland, and becoming a legend known around the world.
