Great One Hit Wonders - Sort Of..('69 - '70)

The poor ol' one hit wonders have been much maligned ever since Methusalah was a boy. Nearly all of them did have a minor (in some cases very minor) hit as well as the killer which delivered instant success. All the following bands are cases in point. I'll give you a lyric from their big hit and the name of a minor hit they recorded if you can give me the artist or band. Let's face it. If I had written and recorded My Sharona I would probably be still relaxing on the Riviera. To all the bands I've loved before, good luck with that elusive next big hit....

Geez. You should hold onto the book these came from. I've never heard of ANY of the songs, and barely knew any of the artists listed. I just began hitting randomly
