Harry Potter - The Gryffindor House - Part 2

There are four Hogwarts houses, namely: Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and Slytherin. Gryffindor is certainly the most popular of the four, and is given the most attention in J. K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series. Six of seven planned books have been published to date. They are: “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” (retitled “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” in the United States), “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets,” “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban,” “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire,” “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” and “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.” Gryffindor values courage and chivalry. Its animal emblem is the lion and its colors are red and gold. Nearly Headless Nick is the house ghost. Information about the past and present members of the Gryffindor house are given.
