History of TV Shows
![]() |
This quiz asks you to name the progeny of the original television show. The history of television teaches us the prologue that producers find it easier to sell a show that has characters that came from a previous show. However, the results are mixed. Some make it some don't. For example: Which program is a granddaughter of 'Happy Days' and a daughter of 'Mork and Mindy'? Answer: 'Out of the Blue' in 1979. This quiz will explore your understanding of television programs' genealogy.

I don't think you understand what a "spin off" actually is. And I don't like your "granddaughter" terminology. (For example, how is "The Andy Griffith Show" a granddaughter of "Make Room for Daddy"?)

granddaughter, of Make Room for Daddy?
