Hitchcock's Famous Cameo Roles

Alfred Hitchcock made 37 appearances in his films that spanned over 50 years. If you weren't looking for him, you probably missed him as the appearances were brief. His first appearance was in the third film he made in Britain called "The Lodger" which he filmed in '26. He made just six more appearances in his British films. One theme that often occurs in his appearances is that he carries some sort of stringed instrument. Oddly, he made no cameos in his US TV show called "Alfred Hitchcock Presents". He gave personal introductions to the episodes and in one he showed up on the cover of a magazine. I will tell you how he appeared and a little about the film and then you chose it.
