Hollywood’s Neo-Noir amps the volume a bit more on the dark side of human nature: moral values are more depraved, murkier, and ambiguous: killers are more sadistic; females are even more fatal; gritty and seedy lowlifes are grittier, seedier, and lower. Obsessiveness, loneliness, rejection, jealousy, self-destruction --- all that and more make Neo Noir a wild, albeit disturbing, ride. And film makers have tossed in contemporary situations using such neat, divergent styles as westerns, animated cartoons, science fiction, crime/black comedy, and more. These questions include the above genres featuring performers in these movies dated 1976 to the present. Clues are scattered throughout. I hope you enjoy the ride.
