Middle Eastern peoples have used the chickpea (garbanzo) for thousands of years! The chickpea, actually a bean- not a pea- is a versatile low fat, high-fiber legume used in everything possible-from spreads to soups and salads. It's a really indispensible bean.
If you've never made hummus before-take heart! By the end of this session, you'll be able to make a delicious, high protein, lower fat and savory spread your family will crave more of!- from scratch!
