Forgive me, please! I'm a big fan of the stage, and I majored in theatre, but musicals have never really been my taste. They've always been too perky (even the dark ones seem watered-down) or too unrealistic. When have you ever seen masses of people burst into song simultaneously? I have some suggestions to make popular musicals more interesting to ME. See if you recognize the shows I'm attempting to improve.
