I Like Big Books! (Baby Got Paperback)

I noticed something when I was reorganizing my bookshelves the other day. I don’t know why, but most of my favorite works of fiction are enormous. Huge. Tomes. Perhaps it allows for more character development, or more intricate plots, or something. Maybe I just prefer spending lots of time with authors I enjoy.

Here is a quiz about ten of my favorite “sustained” reads. Some are classic, some are contemporary. There is no connection among the books in this quiz except that they are all among my favorite fiction, and they are all lengthy. I’ll briefly outline the plot. Your challenge is to identify the book.
