I have long found impostors interesting, particularly impostors who ply their craft for something other than financial gain. This quiz, however, covers all types of impostors with different motivations for their impostures. Some of the impostures covered are total, with the impostor assuming another identity, and some are partial, where a real person presents an imposture about some aspect of his/her life. Five of the impostors who are covered in this quiz have been the subject of movies, the title of each is given as part of the applicable question. This quiz is built to be informative, it isn't built for speed. The picture introducing this quiz is of the correct answer to question 4, who posed as the son of Sidney Portier. Sources: Wikipedia, the on-line encyclopedia, supplemented by other websites.
