It's Elementary! Or is it?
![]() |
Do you know your elements? That is: the highly technical, lesser known elements? I noticed how many there were and what strange names a lot of them had while looking at an encyclopedic book recently. Some of them I couldn't believe were a real element name. Now you scientific nerds out there will probably ace this, but if any budding scientists or laymen would like to guess at something different and difficult than please have a go! I am simply going to list 5 names, all of which are actual names of elements exept for one. You have to name the made up, odd one out.

this isn't about this quiz.It is regarding The 20th Century Fictional Character quiz. On the opening page you claim that Frodo was created by JK Rowling. Tolkien wrote all the Lord of the Rings books. JK wrote Harry Potter.
Interesting to see I'm not the only one suffering "time lag" between questions. It took 55 seconds between Q's 2 & 3. Goood quiz though!
I thought I was going to learn something not a list of names.
