John Browning and His Guns

John Moses Browning was born in 1855. By the time he died seventy-one years later, he held 128 gun patents. His work influenced all types of firearms, rifles, shotguns, pistols, and automatic weapons and is still felt today. His designs helped us win two world wars, and on a personal note, are directly responsible for saving an ancestor's life. These questions are about the man and the guns he invented or improved upon.
