Recently voted the most beautiful gardens in the world, the Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew, on the western edge of London, were donated to the British public by King William IV in 1840. They became a World Heritage Site in 2003 and have probably the most prestigious gardens (and gardeners) in the world. They play a major part in plant conservation and research as well as providing beautiful surroundings for the public to relax in and enjoy. How much do you know about this gorgeous bit of the English landscape? Questions are not short (please do not take this quiz if you dislike long questions!) and information from personal experience (I'm a member, or 'Premier Friend' as we're called) and of course internet research.
