In 1935 Post Cereals licensed the rights to a popular new movie character, Mickey Mouse; after that the marketing of kids' foods changed forever. Mickey was placed on the front of Post Toasties cereal and sales went through the roof! Soon, other manufacturers jumped on the bandwagon and the whole kids' food business took off.
