From circus day in Rome complete with lions, pachyderms, chariot racing and performances, the circus has endured and remains to be a major source of entertainment for people all over the world. I have long been a big fan of the circus, I love reading and learning about all aspects of circus life - from its history, to it's lingo, its superstitions, and performers (both human and animal). I've learned so many interesting things about circus life, but I'm curious as to what You know! I have quite a treasure trove of circus sites that I visit quite often, so, if you're interested, just e-message me and I'll be glad to share them with you. Let's try a little review of circus history.
