Let's Sing, Sing, Sing....

For many years I taught music in primary schools and loved working with the kids. Part of the weekly curriculum was singing and it was always a great session. Most of the material for these lessons was taken from the Sing Songbooks, collections of songs produced annually by the ABC, each year reflecting a new theme. Sing has been an integral part of the primary school music curriculum in Australia since the late 1950s. Many adults can still remember their favourite Sing tunes from when they were at school! There are simply hundreds of songs I could write a quiz about, but this quiz will highlight some of the kids favourites. May be I'll write a few more quizzes later!
