"Long Black Veil": The Song Remains the Same

I decided to create a "Song Remains the Same" quiz based on "Long Black Veil" after doing the recent Sploofus WordPuzzle entitled "Fashionable Songs". A puzzle answer required identifying "Long Black Veil" as one of the "fashionable songs" and Johnny Cash as its performer. In fact, I own both a studio recording and a longer live recording of "Long Black Veil" by Cash. Because the WordPuzzle noted above was my inspiration for this quiz, however, I decided to use Cash as an introduction to the quiz, rather than as an answer. Cash does figure in some of the questions, however.

As with all of my "Song Remains the Same" quizzes, I own copies of the recordings that are used as correct answers. For this quiz, I only had 11 artists to choose from, although there are many, many more recorded versions of "Long Black Veil" to be had. Given the song, this quiz features more folk and country music than any of my others to date.
